The quilts shown here are all custom made by quilter, Nicole Oliver. "I sure have had a great time creating, designing, and sewing all of the custom quilts I've made for my customers in the past 15 years. I hope everyone enjoys these pictures as much as I enjoyed making these quilts." Custom Memory Quilts As with all QuiltShack quilts, these are 100% cotton, including the batting. Price is dependent on size and materials used and supplied. Cross-stitch designs and monogramming are also available.
This was a fun and time-consuming project. The quilt and sham were made from a child's clothes. The customer sent me her daughter's clothing from birth to the age of 3, from which I made 12X12 hearts. I added button and bows for finishing touches. This is her response:"Dear Nicole,
I received the quilt today and couldn't believe my eyes. It was absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I sat on her bed and went through some of the hearts and I told her stories of who gave her this outfit and which one was her first - the baby feet of course. Thanks a million and I will be sending you my other daughters' clothes and my son's."

This quilt was a delight to design and sew together. The customer's son had passed away. She wanted a quilt for herself and one for her sister. She provided golf towels, boxers, shirts, hats, high school jacket, patches, pictures, and poems. Everything was laid out to allow for two king size quilts. When she picked up the quilts, she was astonished at what had been created with bits and pieces of her son's belongings. She and her sister were overcome and could not express the joy they both felt with these quilts.

We wanted to write and say thank you so much. This was truly a great work that you did. I love it - I started crying when I opened the box and saw the quilt. Just one last note to let you know how much these quilts meant to me and my family. My mother-in-law couldn't stop crying she was so happy. Then, when I gave my mom and dad their quilt, my mom cried and my father, being from the old school where you never let anyone see you cry, well he left the room. My mom told me that she likes wrapping the quilt around her. She feels it is the closest she's been to my brother since his accident 15 years ago. Once again, thank you Nicole from the bottom of my heart. The price I paid was nothing compared to the look of contentment on my parents faces."

This quilt was done as the card for a 40th anniversary. The customer wrote that the quilt was a BIG hit and a great idea and the couple will have wonderful memories from their guest.
Haley and Alex's Birthday Quilts: This is a wonderful idea for anyone at any age. For Haley and Alex's 1st Birthday, every guest at the party received a 12X12, 100% cotton square, and everyone painted a Birthday picture/message for their b-day quilt. I put it all together and they both love them to pieces, even at the age of 3 and 4!
